Generation 3, Bolted-in wheel bearing extension set

GENERATION 3 - Bolted-on bearings (Often used in aluminium knuckles but are also frequently used in steel knuckles).

The small tolerance in combination with long guiding into the knuckle causes huge problems after some years when removing the bearing. To avoid damaging and to avoid removing the wheel knuckle use the following tools:

Disassembly/pressing out (takes approx. 10 minutes, leave the driveshaft in place):
01-00026, 01-00027 or 01-00047. (01-00026-020, 01-00027-020, 01-00047-020, 01-00040, 01-00042-B, 01-00042-010, 01-00042-011

Contains these parts:

• 01-00026-020 - Press feet set for 4 bolted wheel bearing/hub
• 01-00027-020 - Press feet set for 3- & some 4 bolts wheel bearing/hub
• 01-00047-020 - Press feet set for 4 bolted wheel bearing/hubs with uneven brake shields
• 01-00040 - Hub-/bearing puller for wheel bearing dismantling 4/5 bolt 92 - 131 mm
• 01-00042-B - Wheel bearing puller for 3 – 4 bolted bearings with removed hubs
• 01-00042-010 - Screw set M12x1,25 - Subaru etc.
• 01-00042-011 - Screw set M12x1,5 - VW, VAG etc.
